Find out about the Mas

The word “Couvin,” derived from the old Provençal dialect , gives its name to the nearby marsh, where many birds come to nest during the mating season. The Mas du Couvin and its 1.7 hectares, where water embraces earth, welcomes you all year-round, under the protection of biocompatible mosquito-repelling posts.

The Mas

Set in the centre of a peaceful marsh, this spacious building features a cosy living room, a dining area with large bay windows, a luxuriously furnished kitchen and five comfortable bedrooms.

The swimming pool

Hidden from view by the shelter of the reeds and a little away from the house, the swimming pool is the most coveted summer attraction at the Mas du Couvin. You can chill there, swim in fresh water (salt-treated), read while tanning, and strike up lengthy conversations under the pergola or in the shade of the pine trees.

The cabana

Facing the marsh, the cabana is an unusual haven for loners who appreciate meditation. However, it also welcomes friendly get-togethers for happy moments under the watchful eyes of the horses, or relaxation sessions in communion with nature.

The terraces

Although each room has its own terrace, the Mas provides plenty of spots to sit, chill and take in the distinctive Camargue landscape, either by oneself or with others.

Natural areas

This 17.000 m2 property is home to a wide range of native and occasionally uncommon plant species but the view extends much farther. Located in the heart of the Camargue Regional Natural Park, the Couvin marsh invites you to watch the many birds with which this protected wetland must coexist.

The car park

Since you have to get to the Mas du Couvin somehow , a 6-car carport and a bicycle storage discreetly adjoin the house. And to keep up with modern times, terminals make it possible to recharge electric vehicles.
