Find out about the mas
The word “Couvin,” derived from the old Provençal dialect , gives its name to the nearby marsh, where many birds come to nest during the mating season. The Mas du Couvin and its 1.7 hectares, where water embraces earth, welcomes you all year-round, under the protection of biocompatible mosquito-repelling posts.
The mas
Discover a vast building, a warm living room and a dining room with large bay windows, a luxuriously equipped kitchen and five comfortable bedrooms, in the heart of a marsh that invites contemplation.
The swimming-pool
Hidden from view by the reeds and set slightly apart from the main house, the swimming pool is the favorite spot during summers at Mas du Couvin. You can cool off, swim in the fresh (salt-treated) water, read while sunbathing, and engage in long conversations under the pergola or in the shade of the pine trees.
The cabana
Facing the marsh, the cabin is an unusual refuge for solitary individuals who like to meditate. But it also welcomes lively groups for convivial moments under the watchful eyes of the horses, or for relaxation sessions in communion with nature.
The terraces
While each room has its own terrace, the farmhouse offers many places to sit – or even rest – alone or with others, in order to enjoy the unique landscapes of the Camargue.
Natural areas
The property covers 17,000 m2 planted with local, and sometimes rare, species, but the view extends far beyond. Located in the heart of the Camargue Regional Natural Park, the Couvin marsh offers the opportunity to observe the many birds with which this protected wetland must be shared.
The car park
Since you have to get to the Mas du Couvin somehow , a 6-car carport and a bicycle storage discreetly adjoin the house. And to keep up with modern times, terminals make it possible to recharge electric vehicles.
