The soul of the Mas
At Mas du Couvin, water, stone, earth, and sky connect the guests’ souls to nature for a different time experience.

Water
The wetlands are the symbol of the Camargue Regional Park and are home to many endemic and migratory bird species, Mas du Couvin is part of this rare and dynamic nature, which it strives to preserve through its environmental commitment.
Stone
The Mas was built in 1970 by a Camargue-loving family and has since been restored by nature enthusiasts. Under the charm of this exceptional location, they hired an Arlesian architect and chose eco-friendly materials such as travertine , reminiscent of the stone found in the Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer church.

Earth
Typical Camargue plant species thrive freely and secure the Mas du Couvin in the surrounding marshlands. To create natural privacy, local trees and shrubs have been replanted around the swimming pool, including tamarisks, pistachio trees, bay laurels, umbrella pines, phillyreas, salt marsh plants, sea lavenders, and obiones.
Sky
The Camargue sky is unlike any other and stretches endlessly untouched by obstacles. It treats guests to a breathtaking show at sunrise, sunset and even more so on starry nights.

Time
At the Mas du Couvin, time doesn’t pass the way it does elsewhere Light takes over and sets its own pace, turning each ray of sunlight into a unique, evolving and beautiful moment.
